The Aravalli Bachao Andolan is a citizen-led movement to protect the Aravallis — one of the world’s oldest mountain ranges — from mining, encroachment, and legal dilution. The movement calls for the full 700 km Aravalli range to be declared a permanent biosphere reserve.
